Dummy is Tony Stark's amazing fire extinguisher. He loves to dowse Tony when Tony is not on fire. He also loves to stalk Tony to make Tony feel like he's going to catch fire spontaneously. I was very confused about this at first but I think I figured out they are the same, he just got the fire extinguisher enhancement for when Tony was testing his boots.

Actually, I stand corrected! "Butterfingers" was the name used in the early version of the script and somehow all the fans kept using it (though it was actually never mentioned in the movie). But the name was later changed to "You"... And Tony actually uses it in the movie: "You, roll it." and "You, you are no benefit at all." I just never realized it was an actual name - I thought it was "you" like in "hey, you". I just learned that in the novelization the name You is actually used, and then I reallized why Tony used "You" so much in the relation to the second robot. XD

I'm pretty sure he /does/ say Butterfingers in the movie. When he gets his new heart thing, and Pepper is leaving, he says, "You, butterfingers" and the more stuff I don't remember.

Perhaps that was either a left-over from the older script or just a pet nickname relating to You's fingers..? (Tony calls Jarvis per "Devil" once in a novel, too 
I think they picked those names just to confuse fans...
