I live 30 miles away from the city where i commute to [for school, and majority of socializing] which is where he lives and I hadn't seen him for like a week.. Kinda.. sad I guess 
although he is soon to go to South Africa for nearly 2 weeks.

1. i like how it isnt in razor sharp focus. i think it would give it less of the effect it shows.
2. it's film, the slight grain and feel is different. dont know why, but film almost always seems more "romantic" "mystical"
3. the crop. no eyes or really distinguishable features. i think everyone can relate this "emotion" and so that it doesn't show your mug helps us get more into it.

I always feel so bad.
I think the background is a little bit distracting (the tree's etc) it just takes away some of the intimacy in the photo however it is very good!

I can see where people are coming from when they comment about the hand. I LOVE how its just focused on our lips but i think a little softer fading on the hand?
