In the darkest of light love can be found.It may not be perfect… it may not be right all the time…
But love can be found. Love can be found.
No matter who you are or what you become we all get to that place at some point or another where colours are so bright in the darkest of days… love can open our eyes to things that may not be there in sight or true in words … yet it feels so good at the time
and just like a drug …we all crave that feeling once its gone… and when its there we want it all the time! This piece means a lot to me because it was designed right after a horrible lack of motivation within myself, my art, well everything really.
It was so freeing to break that horrible state and be –me- again, feels free to create and free to be without stressing about the unimportant… I think for a little while I was trapped in my own head and consumed my thoughts on silly little things that don’t really matter…
Everything feels wonderful now!
Things taste better when you’re happy.
Love can hurt, it can free, it can consume and it can taste mighty fine
We love it all the same.

Very nice! (: I kinda' like her face. Her eyes have a bit of a geisha-look to them. And I like that kind of eye brows!

I definitely know that feeling of being stuck in your head, not a fun place to be. But we must be optimistic people if we are able to get out of that state of mind and realize what's important. Some just go deeper and it is very sad. However, I love this piece and all of the beautiful details. I also love the contrasting colors, very interesting. I wish the best for you as always. there are always people more worse off...thinking our lives are falling apart is just too dramatic for reality at most costs...
thanks again! i think knowing what i have been through in the past -which has been heavier and tricker- than anything present, i know i have gained the strength to shuffle along before things get too dark and draining

This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the dark lolita style. Everything just comes together so well the red contrasts perfectly with the black balancing out the mood perfectly. I can tell you worked really hard on this it was really worth the effort. If you don't mind me asking what materials do you use for your traditional work? I want to do more traditional drawings but I have no clue what to start with....

i actually use watercolour pencils for all my works! i use to use the aid of photoshop for backgrounds and grungy effects -sometimes- but im trying to produce more images purely with traditional methods...they always look better finished in frames without gaps and unfinished parts -where id finish them on photoshop instead.
if i were you i would buy faber castelle... a BIG box with 7 different shades of each colour...this box has just given me so much more spance with my pieces!
