Description It seems like when a disaster gets a lot of attention, people get upset and bring a lot of negativity to the outpouring of support. This comic represents any disaster and the sort of comments you might find for it.

The majority of negative comments I see, usually are uninformed and selfish. Negative comics and stamps are out there, whining about the current disaster support. So, why not add just one more comic, but about the negative and whiny comments.

Seriously guys, think and research before you post. Otherwise you'll look like a jackass and if that's what you were going for, that's pretty sad.

And in case you're one of the one's spreading negativity about the support and decide not to read through the comic, here's the moral:
Instead of whining about all the attention a specific disaster is getting, why not encourage support for the next one (or one currently going on you think it's not covered enough). It's MUCH more positive and productive than whining about how many people care about a devastated area.

P.S. no unicorns were harmed in the making of this.

Wow, how did you set this up? xD did you have a bunch of alt accounts or something in order to make the project or did you just draw it?

I remember after the Kanto Earthquake disaster, Noizi Ito created a Haruhi Suzumiya artpiece to auction for charity. But one rabid hater created a post about said artpiece and was actually offended at the character used for the auction. Even worse, there were other people agreeing with this person! Ito used her star character to support to the cause, and yet this person completely derails the point of this pic, by saying how her friends must've done this to prevent her from destroy the universe and stuff like that.Β

Okay, Haruhi may be a jerk, she has done shameful things in the past, she tends to be ignorant and oblivious to the world around her. But, this is the thing. Even in relation to the series she comes from, she undergoes character development, she learns as the story progresses and becomes a better person in the future. And yet, because so many people most probably never read the light novels and only watched the anime, they don't get to see that.

But even as I say this, is it really necessary to complain about a piece of art that was made to help to the cause of Japan's accident because a certain character you don't like was used in it? No it does not. You're putting your hatred against a character, a non-existant person, mind you, above the needs of other people. That is sad.

...Sorry about the rant, this pic just brought this scenario up to me.

This is really good. This pretty much fits a lot of what happened.
I'm the secretary of my college's Asian Media Society (they wouldn't let us call it an anime club), and we tried to raise some donations for Japan after the quake. We ran into 3 problems: 1--a lot of people didn't care, 2--we were given very little tabling time, and 3--1 week in the university decided to let a sorority do it instead and told us to stop and let them raise the funds (to be fair, they had way more members and probably got more $ than we could have, so that might have been a good thing.).

I did certainly l.o.l. as it read it, but it's also a great piece of satire; and satire, I find, tends to get a point across much more strongly and quickly than ranting. Thanks for sharing this n____n

I thought it was real!
I know it sounds crazy but considering the types of wackos I meet during the years it was resonable to me.
I read through this I was saying to myself "WTF is this?"...
Now I get it after reading the artist comment...twice.
