A variation on one of my earlier photos. An otherworldly glow comes from within the bud.NOTE: It seems people couldn't be trusted not to steal this photo and post it unattributed, or worse, use it for commercial purposes. Perhaps it's too late, but I'm setting a watermark and reducing the max size.
!!!SCAM ALERT!!!
I have found unscrupulous people using this picture to sell seeds online, especially on Etsy. Don't be fooled! This is not a natural rose color and whatever you grow will not look like this! This is actually a "Chicago Peace" rose that I took a picture of and then digitally manipulated to change the color.

I'm afraid not, blue color like this does not exist in natural roses. It is for this reason that by tradition, blue roses in art symbolically represent attaining the impossible.
This effect seen in the photo was achieved by reversing the blue and red channels.
