I'd love to get started doing this, but don't have much of an idea as to tools, nor approach; right now, I'm trying to learn some clay sculpture techniques I would like to refine. Love your work!

I'm sure a lot of the techniques for clay would work with wood. Different tools of course! I got a lot of inspiration from Whiteright here on DA. I made my knives from old jig saw blades( from a vid on u-tube). Good luck, when you do it. Watch the hands too. I opened mine up a few times....
