Gateway to the Laurel Mountains, Ohiopyle State Park encompasses over 19,000 acres of rugged natural beauty in southwestern Pennsylvania. The focal point of Ohiopyle is the more than 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River George which provides some of the best whitewater boating in the Eastern U.S. Hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, natural waterslides, and a state park natural area.  The Youghiogheny River is known locally as "The Yough" (pronounced Yawk).

Unfortunately we just stopped for a short time on our way home from somewhere else.  There was someone waiting in the car (ahem, I won't mention names) so didn't spend as much time as I would have liked.  It is not that far away so I'm sure we'll visit again and hike around.
