I couldn't get over the red sand or dirt (I don't know what it is called). I do know it is not a good idea to wear sandles while walking on it. ha ha

SANDALS! Excuse any misspellings as I can't think and use my left hand at the same time. I've given up on the flip-flops but I'm
used to wearing my hiking sandals at home. It's just so dry in Arizona that I'm not used to that. The path looked so nice and flat and smooth but the fine grit kept getting inside my sandals. lesson learned.
