As an individual who also wears glasses, I can say that I personally would like to thank Zim for stating the obvious. This is like taking someone out of their wheelchair, sitting down in it, and going "Gee wizz lil'Timmy, you really can't walk, can ya?"
Love the concept though. Very Zim-esque of him to do.
