though in my opinion maybe if you blurred some parts a lil bit, you could give the piece an intense feeling of action like you are in the picture itself

Anyways, the detail on the dragon's scales, especially around the head, and the little background details are very nice! I only wish I could draw this well. :3

You have a wonderful attention to detail on the dragon, being able to see all the scales on its head is really a treat. Its eye is beautiful and I love how you can see through its wings. The bi-plane is wonderfully done, I love the angle and the bright colors.
A few things that do bother me though.
I get the feeling that you were trying to make it look like the dragon was cutting in front of the bi-plane so the bi-plane had to pull up and fly over the top of the dragon. But if my understanding is right then the bi-plane should be casting a shadow on the dragonβs back, but there is no shadow so the bi-plane looks out of place.
Another thing is the 2nd bi-plane. It looks like itβs a copy-and-paste of the first one, only tilted up more. Not only does that make it look like your cutting corners, but it also looks very odd because we are left wondering why the plane is flying at such an odd angle instead of looking at the first bi-plane and the pretty dragon. And drawing attention away from the main subjects is rarely a good thing.
And last but not least, the planes arenβt firing on the dragon. They are fighting, at least thatβs my understanding of it, but no one is firing on the dragon. It seems a little out of place.
My advice to you would be to put a cast shadow on the dragonβs back. Repaint the 2nd bi-plane so its flying at the dragon. And paint some gun fire coming from the first and 2nd bi-planes.
But all in all, itβs a really pretty piece.
