I've been wondering that myself for ages. There is most certainly a market for it, I know a great deal of people who have been clamoring for it, myself included. I gotta sit through how many crappy Mortal Kombat attempts, and after 50 years, Capcom has finally managed to count to FOUR (SF, I love you but you know who you are, lol), but I can't get my ultra-combo on?!
I did always want Rare to step their game up in character design and development, and I did appreciate what they were trying to do with the storyline. I guess the wrong people were there and just couldn't nuture it properly.
All I'm saying is, if Chun Li can get her own (insert adjective here) movie, we should get another shot at Killer Instinct!

Thank you! ^_^ Orchid was SO my favorite character from KI, and I too prefer her KI2 outfit. I issued MANY a beatdown with her in my arcade-rat heyday.
The only other fan art I have of her is from 1996~! But since it still looks pretty decent, I could post it here. It is a very "cheeky" pic, featuring Maya and Kim Wu as well. I'll post it for you
