What passion in this photo!

Yes, it wasn't faked. Which means that I had to throw away most of the shots, since there was no way to have them stand still. Yet, it was worth it

Awesome!  Knowing that they were into it is so much better than being staged!

Omg, just love it. The picture expresses so much without even showing their faces. Great job!

Yes, it's already in the grab of their hands and the tension of their muscles, showing us how passionate they were being.
Which made taking pictures complicate, because there was no way to tell them "Would you please stay still just a moment in this very very nice pose?". So most of the shots were blurred , but those that were not, were worth the effort.

Chinseiju, this is not a "luck" or an accident: I work with them because I ask them to pose. "I think you have a beautiful body: would you mind posing nude for me?" This is a kind of "luck" you can have too... The real "luck" is being bold enough to dare ask to pose naked...
Of course I understand that culture in Singapore can be very different, especially regarding attitudes towards nudity. However, don't be fooled: here I am showing the result of TEN years of work. It took a lot of time to find enough models to show them.
But you are a handsome man: you can always offer to "pose" nude for them in exchange
I have found many model via gay chatlines (Gay Romeo), the rest being friends.
Have you tried with Model Mayhem already?

If im in italy, i wont mind to pose some professionally taken nude shots by you.
If you dont mind my height and body built.

giovannidallorto In reply to VanWangye [2015-01-11 16:44:56 +0000 UTC]

If chance should land you in Italy, I'd be more than happy to shoot nude pictures of a very handsome man like you. I can also house you for the night, in case you needed it, OF COURSE in a separate room and bed (I have a guest room!).
Only, I do not know what do you mean by "professional". If you mean "non-pornographic", then it is ok, otherwise, I am not a professional, and I clearly state it. I am a dilettante. What I can offer you is the kind of pictures I am publishing here, nothing better than this. Which I know too well is not "professional".

Why should I mind about height and build? I am looking for beauty AND sexyness, not for models for an underwear campaign. This build
chinseiju.deviantart.com/art/M…
is perfect for me. Actually, I hate "built" physiques, I prefer natural beauty. Built physiques are striking, I must admit it, but in the end they look all alike since they are all built along the same model. This model
giovannidallorto.deviantart.co…
took a lot of months to shoot since he kept postponing since he complained he was "out of shape", yet he is one of the most successful ones in my gallery. People like his attitude and posture, the way he stands, they do not need a "washboard stomach" to say that a man is cute.
So, stop caring about fashion standards. They are excellent to sell underwear. But here we are talking about nude photography, quite another sector of photography, with different rules and aims.
Btw I never shot Asian beauty, and I would like to try. Asian people in Italy are mostly first-generationers, and they brought with them a very strict morality, and a very strong antigay bias. So I never had the occasion to try.

Good point.  Some of your best images are of dudes that are not extremely muscular.  A lot of them have slim bodies and even a bit of body hair, natural beauty as you describe it.  They all work well for nudes.  It has a lot to do with posing and composition.

Thank you for writing this. I have been accused by some friends of mine of only shooting "pumped up" bodies, not "real people". Although it is true that I am being selective, I felt I was closer to reality than my accusers thought. I like to span along very diverse kinds of beauty. E.g. I do not personally fancy hirsute men, but I liked to photograph Ahmed because he is so handsome in so many ways. And the outcome seems to have please everyone. There is not one way only of being beautiful. Thank you for understanding it.

i dont mind pose nude if im outside singapore.

Within singapore..due to its small country..its risky. I may lose more stuff then just the surface.

Model mayhem?

But im not ripped nor im tall. Im only 1.71 metres. around5,6 foot

You don't have to be ripped nor tall to be a good nude model.  I viewed your picture and think you would make a great nude model.  You have nice pecs and don't have a lot of body hair, so that is a good start.  We can't tell since you still have your shorts on, but chances are you have a great looking butt and nicely shaped penis too!

Shorter models still can create some very sensual images too.  This is my favorite example:

There are many others too!

Well, the reasoning goes along in the same way for other people to model for you, I guess... So I can see why it is difficult to find models over there.
"Being outside Singapore" is meaningless: in the www era, everything is everywhere at once. You pose in San Francisco, ten minutes after the image is posted online, it can be seen from Siberia to Buenos Aires... passing from Singapore, of course.

Nude photography does not have the same rules as fashion photography. What counts in nude is proportion and harmony, not size. You may be short but proportionate and look great, and tall and graceless and look awful. So just forget about height.

Model Mayhem works both ways: to look for photographers, or to look for models.

oh do you have the links to model mayhem?

Hahaha but i do not know how to pose well in nude shots or artistic nude shots. Im an amatuer in photography. haha

giovannidallorto In reply to VanWangye [2015-01-11 16:32:33 +0000 UTC]

Yes of course: www.modelmayhem.com/ Remember you can use it both ways: to look for photographers or to look for models. Many of the models there are professionals, so they will want to be paid. But who knows.

I am an amateur too, but none of the models you see in my pictures is a professional, either. Which means that of course it takes more time and patience for a shot, but since we are not doing it for money, the say "time is money" is not relevant for the both of us.
If you are a professional photographer, you need professionals because it takes less time with them and, yes, time is money. And they can PRETEND they are "spontaneous" better. But with a little time available, everything is possible. I know it, since I already took the pictures you saw, so I am talking out of my experience.

giovannidallorto In reply to kassemir [2014-12-30 15:30:14 +0000 UTC]

It was. The models were supposed to pose still nearby together for a while (one standing, the other seated, things like this), but they closeness ignited some very peculiar hydraulic reactions in them both, who got caught a bit too much into the thing and completely forgot the reason why they were there (as well as the fact that I was still shooting: they both told me, afterwards, "I no longer cared a damn about you" -- something I must admit I won't complain about, indeed). In short, it can't get any more "authentic" than this!
Unfortunately, what came next can't be displayed to any mortal eyes...

did there passion continue after the shoot?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

giovannidallorto In reply to Alonewithmyself [2014-12-31 12:14:36 +0000 UTC]

Do you mean "their" passion? Well, one of the two already has a boyfriend, so it was not feasible. The amusing point is that the day before the shoot this friend was complaining with me about the fact that his (new) boyfriend subscribed to "queer theory" and therefore theorised "polyamory", whereas he was more into a traditionally monogamous relationship. However, we were shown how passion works, in human beings: like a seizure.

Wow, that's quite an amazing story, how passion just sparked like that in a setting like that, damn!

giovannidallorto In reply to kassemir [2014-12-31 17:35:07 +0000 UTC]

Any place is ok for passion. When I asked my friends about how did they feel having me shooting while they were kissing & having petting (when things went too far they obviously retired to a (bed)room), they both said: "Sort of titillating for sure as a situation, I felt a bit like playing the porn-diva, but at the same time I did not really mind about you being there: my attention was totally focused on something else".
Poets call passion "blinding", I think they had understood the mechanism well. We all get blown away from it, like a hurricane.

Cool observation about that blind passion thing, overtaken by passion it can sort of feel like you're shutting off for the rest of the world.
