My own entry for the CalendarProject 2014. The whole package consists of a journal skin, a gallery skin and gallery folder icons. Like last year more was planned, but time was against me the past two months and that's why you "just" get those three things.

Hope you like it! And thanks to everyone who contributed to the project this year


The final Calendar Project journal feature will be done later - sorry for the delay!

The menu can be found at the "Skin Header" section after you installed the journal. Keep the structure as it, but add any content or links you like.

When I modified the drop-down menu links, the footer that said "Skin by ginkgografix (modified by SophiaEowyn ) disappeared, do you know what could have caused this? o: Thank you very much in advance! (:

The credit disappears when you edit the skin and save it as a new one - if I remember right. But that's no problem for me, so don't worry about that

Wenn du in einem selbst erstellten Galerie-Ordner bis, klickst du oben rechts auf "Folder Options".
Dann springt ein neues Fenster auf und da hast du oben "Icons". Da ebenfalls drauf klicken und dann kannst du über den Button "Change Icon" das Galeriebild anpassen.

Ahhh ich hab ein kleine Frage (ich möchte es als Gallery skin auch nehmen), aber bei mir ist die Überschrift schwarz und nicht grün... liegt es daran, dass deviantart irgendetwas geändert hat (weil auch die deviationnames nicht schwarz mit grünem hover sind sondern nicht vorhanden) oder hab ich etwas falsch gemacht //D BEISPIEL: (kama-shi.deviantart.com/galler… )

Der Journal und Gallery skin sind super süß //// <3

Ich glaube 2015 oder so hatte DA was an den Galerien geändert, wodurch die Überschriften beeinflusst wurden.  Wenn da Probleme auftreten, brauchst du im Allgemeinen nur das h2 von.folderview-top h2 im CSS code durch h1 ersetzen. 
Habs mal angepasst im Sta.sh-Dokument.

Das andere mit dem schwarzen Balken wurde von DA ja wegrationalisiert und ist nur noch als Hover bei Deviations vorhanden. Da wird sich der Code vermutlich auch grundlegend geändert haben.

when I'm less lazy I might use the gallery design thing too. It's really pretty and simple, I love that; if I weren't as lazy I'd think of a design that fits me and have it commissioned, but I'm bad at thinking of these things.

I don't think that it is laziness when you want to create own design. Pleasing yourself can be rather tricky and is often more difficult than doing something for others

ooh, no, I meant that I'm too lazy to take the time to think about my own design. it isn't laziness at all to do your own thing, on the contrary, it's more time-consuming than just taking a premade one.

Time is never my friend.  Just look at what it has done to my thighs, lolols.

I am thinking I should make some custom widget skins.  Installables that are meant for the widget use instead of the journal.  Though people might get confused.  Perhaps make a single one that would work for both.    I have not even finished mine yet.

Usually I am good at managing things, but December has been a little nightmare - and the CP didn't help much with all it's chaos.

Instructions will be required, otherwise you might be right with confusing people too much. On the other hand, those profile menus are rather popular, so people will know what to do with that stuff

A birdhouse with a cat (the birds fly into its mouth hehe), fluffy warm slippers for at home, a book, a photography book, 2 big flower pots for on my roof terrace, a new home phone set (that I can't get to work yet D: ), paper for my printer and a couple lottery tickets
