Young Prince Jakiel stood beside the carriage as his mother continuously messed around with his hair. Ever since he mentions to her that he was open to try dating once more she has been on a hunting spree for young women she prayed he’d had interest for. Jak was beyond nervous he was never good at meeting people let alone keeping them entertained. And after going through a painful divorce his self-esteem was shot back down to single digit number. His best lucky was to whoo her with his charming way of speaking and not bore her with his never ending knowledge.“Sweetheart please smile. I know it a scary first step but I’m beyond certain you’ll find someone wonderful. I’ve gone through the interviews and I have set up a few dates for you. This is high class picking sugar boo” His mother said as she proceeded to babying him. “You need to stop this nervous snacking you has crumbs all over you. You wouldn’t want her to think your indecent wouldn’t you?” she questioned.
Jakiel sighed and looked into his mother eyes. “Honestly mother I think its best we just go back home. I’m just not that interesting if this was Shakespeare Juliet in there then maybe, but the most I’ve got is an accent and a library of poems stuck in my memory. Im a man of classics and habits mother…”
The queen rolled her eyes and papped him cheek. “Enough of this sad talk you don’t know if you don’t try now get in there. She should be arriving any minute now.” And with that the queen sent him off into the restaurant. Mumbling to himself he sat at the reserved table waiting on his mystery date arrival.

* the princess, sat stiff as a board, her reflexes telling her to squirm, as her maid, Talilah (meadowoftime.deviantart.com/ar… , decorated her hair, by pulling, prodding and twisting, Talilah hummed as she did this, her red head bobbing, her posture eased, a big smile on her face, the princess smiled and begun to hum as well. Once Talilah was done the princess stood up and turned to her full length mirror, tinted with gold , she looked at her reflection:
Her hair, dyed a creamy blond, curled and twisted on the top of her head, fixed with little bee, dragonfly and butterfly pins, a braided crown across her head , cascading down her back, she wore a dress of baby blue silk, with a halter neck pinned with gold studs, long and flowy. Blue ballet flats and pink ribbon twisted around her ankles and wrists, her face powdered with pink blush and bright pink lips. The princess smiled at Talilah, a blush on her cheeks.
she lead the way down the hall out to the palace entrance, and into the palace grounds,into her carrage, to the restaurant.
she entered the restaurant, not too long later.

of coarse, the little woman was late. she still had her work dress on as she ran down the streets of the kingdom. she tripped and struggled as she tried her best to take off her apron and her hat. it had been a long day at the hospital for her. but all day, she was looking forward to this night. lately, she had been feeling a bit lonely. she was personally just looking for someone to talk too.. that's why she signed up for this 'dating' thing. she had finally reached the restaurant, fixing her hair as she stopped running, and slowly walked in. she looked around-- she's never been in this kingdom before. it was something new. when she asked the woman at the desk about her blind date, the woman pointed to the gingerbread prince. the champagne woman took a deep breath and approached the table "um.. H-Hello, Sir... i believe we have a 'date' together tonight...."

The moment she walked in the young man quickly rose out of his seat and adjusted his tie. He exhaled softly to himself and placed on one of his best smiles. He walked around to her side of the table to great her in the most mannerly way he knew. “It’s a Pleasure to meet Ma’am I am Prince Jakiel of the Gingerbread kingdom. I hope this wasn’t too far a travel for you. OH! Um these are for you I figured roses might have been too strong for a …first date” he said the last part almost as a whisper then cleared his throat. “But I do Hope you like them as subtle as they are they came straight from my mother’s garden.” He finished offering the flowers to the woman and pulls her chair out from under the table. “Please allow me” he added gesturing his hand from her sit down. In his mind things went just as he self-rehearsed. “And might I add you look positively stunning this evening” he ended off with a smile.

"tank you, Mr. Jakiel, you do as well"she smile softly, knowing now that he was such a gentleman. she gently took the flowers from him and sat down "my-my, these flowers are very beautiful... oh dear! where are my manners?" she set the flowers "my name is Genevieve Tonolly.. of.... the vintage kingdom?" she giggled "i certainly do not rule there but i have lived there for my whole life.." she slowly. "the flowers are very nice, but now i'd like yo know about the one who brought them to me." she pushed her liquid bangs back as they would fall ever so often. she looked up at him, waiting for his move to sit so the date would begin.

“OH of course” he said on his way back to his seat he “Genevieve is such a beautiful name if you don’t mind me saying. I’m actually friends with your princess she quite a friendly dame, with passion for dance. Course I myself am more of a waltz man I must admit learning to swing was a fun experience. Sadly I’m just not the most energetic person unless its tennis of fencing I have enough fun with my collect of books. Probably a painting or two here and there, but the things I always have time for is my violin. It’s the only thing I was forced to learn that I actually enjoy.” He chuckled. “Oh im sorry I hope im not talking to much or well boring you. I’m already aware I’m a book worm its just one of my many faults” he added a smile. “So what about you anything your good at? Secret talents?”

she listened to every word he said, trying to pick out the things they shared. there was one that really stuck out. "you play the violin? oh how i love the violin! the orchestra was always a favorite of mine. my father played cello, so i always had a front row seat to his practice time." she thought for a moment "i never did learn how to play.. cello nor violin, but i always have really wanted too." looked down "you seem like a very talented man, Mr. Jakiel. a very literate one as well. i'm not very talented. the best things i do is care for people and try to make them smile!" she chuckled awkwardly, admitting to not really being very good at things. "we do share some thing in common.. we both really like books. i read them when i'm on my break or when i just.. need to calm." she looked back up at him, her hair still falling over her green eyes

Matilda let out a huff of annoyance as she looked to her father in the Coppermobile. "Dad..." She hugged as she twiddled with her coppery bronze hair nervously "I think this is a little silly, don't you think? I can handle myself on finding a date, thank you very much." The Time King looked down at his younger daughter and raised a thick, devil-horn like eyebrow "Really? So, who was it again that blew the date with that nice prince from the Sky Kingdom, Hm?" Matilda glared angrily at her father before looking into her bag for the 12th time tonight to see if everything was in there in an attempt to get her mind off this blind date. Her fayher's cocky look quickly vanished as he saw he hurt Matilda and went back to his usual kinder look "Honey, you and I both know you have some... Trouble meeting men your own age. Your mother and I think this will really help you boost your confidence, as well as give us a chance to see who a new possible heir to the kingdom may be." Looking up at her father, Matilda wrapped her tooth-pick arms around her father as they pulled up to the location of the date "Alright, Daddy..." As the Coppermobile halted to a stop, the Princess gathered her things before stepping out if the vehicle. "You'll do just fine, Princess" The King said gently. Nodding her head, Matilda nervously made her way into the area and searched around 'Ohhhh what if he didn't show up?!' She thought nervously to herself. However, she saw a young man, around her age, sitting alone at a table. 'Is that him?' She wondered. Making last minute touch ups to her hair and dress, the spindly lady walked nervously to her date and sat down at the table "Uhm... H-Hello! You're here for the blind date, uh, right? I'm Matilda, from the Time Kingdom."

*the young lady had timidly been walked in by her father and left as soon as she promised to stay and at least see this man, she sighed lightly to herself not knowing what she was getting into..and this scared here. What if he was just like the last? That would be a diaster. No her father would never find another man like that. He knew what she liked, an intelligent man, taller than her - but not menancing- very sweet and kind, a patient man who wouldn't bark at her for reading a book every now and then.
She walked forward not knowing why her mother had forced her to get a new dress,but it was pretty and comfortable at least. Her dress went down to about tea length and her white tights covered the rest of her legs, she had small heels on colored a pale pink to match her tights and certain parts of her dress, which unfortunately was sleeveless so it showed off her arms, luckily the sweet little laced dress matched a sweater she loved that covered her pesky arms, her hair was left down and wavedher glasses kept or else she would trip and make a fool of herself.
As she rounded the corner she could see a young man and instantly knew he was royalty so she stays hidden behind the corner and tries not to hyperventilate. *
*she took a deep silent breath, straightened her posture, and walked out to meet the young man she presumed to be her date, her heels clicking against the floor, she stops in front of him and curtsies to him* "Hallo" *looks up at him once she's finished with that* "its a pleasure to make your acquaintance." *she smiled genuinely and blushed a little. She smiles softly* "You are Jakiel correct?" *her german accent is very faint and comes out in sweet lulls like honey*

oh dang, oh dang I have to rp this, i'll use Merry(there's no pic I have of her yet but I'll get it up asap ]] Merry looked down at herself,hoping that her long dark maroon dress looked nice on her. She gripped the cross necklace she had on her neck and prayed a quick prayer before straightening up, and walking into the restaurant. She looked around, trying her hardest not to run back outside from fear of too many people staring. "U..um.." She bit her lip. She didn't know what to do. "Oh god" she thought. She put one wild strand of hair behind her ears. "U..um...excuse me..I'm looking for Jakiel..." she said softly. "...t..there is someone here with that name right?" she asked nervously. She was so worried about what he would think about her.
