Description
This is an illustration I painted for my graphic novel/comic PHOENIX. It\'s a post-apocalyptic and should be on sale within a month or two.I been working on Phoenix now for 2 years. Issue one will be available soon. I currently have been writing the novels as well. I hope to have those on the shelves soon. It will be a trilogy.
I hope you enjoy my illustration so far. I put a lot of work into the detail. You can see in the larger version.
Sketched out in pencil and then painted in photoshop cs5.

I saw the video a few days ago, dearest, and I was blown utterly away! She's wonderful!
Hopefully my local entertainment store will be selling it...are you planning a book tour? If so, please try to come to Farmington, NM. In the meantime, I shall spread the word to my peeps and raise money so I can get a copy!

Anyway: wow! Stunning picture! The textures, the perspective, the natural flow of the clothes and hair & the little dinosaur (?) on her shoulder is great.

I've been doing good practicing alot on anatomy but it's sooooooo hard doring male bodies for me. x_x just got done drawing my honey and his upper torso killed my hand....2 weeks of trying to get it right. but i'm getting better none the less. :3 I havent painted in a good long time I think I will soon

This is not only beautiful, but also one of your best pieces of illustration work. The textures and flow of the fabric and hair are gorgeous. Plus, that little dinosaur on Phoenix's shoulder is so weighty and adorable that I just want to scoop him up and cuddle him; he is that real to me.
