If you look at the post war in a dramatic soap opera way, Eowyn only married Faramir to get closer to Aragorn. And Aragorn would tell his wife Arwen he was offΒ fishing, then would send orders to Faramir to head off to Rhun to suppress a rebellion, and he would "visit" Eowyn in Ithilien.... *wink*
