Every time I cosplay a character I try to capture their personality as well as I can. It's always been waaay easier for me to portray sad, depressed, mature and anti-social characters because I can relate to them. That's probably why I resemble her so much

i think this is most important to try to be the character then the character feels right, really? this is cool i would say i am a mix of that and cheery people... don't know why but i can cosplay kanda *having his bad moods from time to time* and on the other hand i could be a *polite* allen or a cheery lavi *but cosplaying linalee would kill me ><

Even if they are a bit of makeup can do wonders. ~YokoAyane has the same problem. She has very feminine, plump lips, but the foundation works wonders. Just apply it in a very thin layer.

I did our Allen's make-up as well so there are a few tips I can give you if you want

Ok so, when applying the foundation use a sponge or a brush. The natural oils on your hands may damage it in time so this step is very important. Then, use a big brush to evenly apply powder. Try to avoid the nose. Making it lighter will only make it bigger. Use a smaller brush and then an angle brush to put an accent on your cheekbones, eyes and the sides of your nose(maybe even your chin).for the curse mark I would recommend either liquid eyeshadow, either acrylics. To draw it use a very thin brush(or an angular one)
Oh, and for the eye make-up, liquid eyeliner should do fine, as long as the line you draw is very thin. Also use a white eyeliner on your waterline to make your eyes bigger.

neah...am fost ca spectator si sustinator dar practic m-am indragostit de comportamentul oamenilor si faptul ca toti se intelegeau-(bn,pe alocuri)-si am vrut si eu sa incerc sa fiu in culise ca cosplayer nu ca spectator deasta deabea astept otaku ca sa ii pot revedea macar pe unii dintre cei pe care i-am vazut la Niji.Toti mi-au dat impresia ca intradevar sunt niste oameni minunati si care depun mult efort si multa munca

dap normal ca voi venii si atunci nu am de gand sa parasesc aceasta "lume" cat de curand
btw de ura intre cosplayeri ~___~ o urasc,stiu cateva grupuri care mentin ura aceasta dar nu inteleg dc exista competitia asta.Ar trebuii sa se respecte intre ei pt. ca toti depun efort insa unii nu inteleg asta....
Gen era la Niji in culise si unul dintre cosplayeri a spus altuia:"De ce vrei sa stai cu noi?Te-ai saturat sa stai cu invingatorii?"
Faza asta m-a lasat masca,chiar nu ma asteptam la asa ceva ....

am vazut si eu oameni care ii injurau pe cei care faceau acelasi cosplay ca si ei.cum poti insulta un om doar pt ca ii place un personaj care practic si tie iti place pt ca si u il cosplayezi.
