this is ink on paper. I like playing with the line a lot more, than handling shadows and cross hatching... (maybe because I am not too great at those- haha). I'm in awe of Jim Lee's ink shading...just a spontaneous futuristic warrior dude with no feet (uhm... oops... paper ran out)- hope its cool!

amazingly clean, my god. is this ink over a drawing or some sort of ridiculous pencils??
it gives off a raiden feel, like from MGS4.
i understand what you mean about the whole cross hatching, but instead of the really clean stuff like you, i just go with intense solid black, everywhere... -___-

Thanks so much! I first did light pencil, and inked over it with micron. I think MGS must have influenced me, although I try to have some tribal/fantasy elements in here.

Why do i think of Snake when I see this picture? XD Not that the design resembles him, but maybe it's the Bu++ thing you talked about and the pants area. XD
