Old Rock Day, January 7th.

Every January there is a little known holiday called Old Rock Day, and this is a day to go out on an adventure and find a rock of your choosing, (or many if you are keen on collecting many!) I chose this holiday because I felt I had a personal connection to it because I rock collect. Through out the year, even in cold January weather and in the blistering summer heat I go out and find new treasures to add to my collection. Naturally, the best part is bringing the rocks home and cleaning off all the grime because that's when you find out just what kind of treasures you picked up!
