Thank you very much. It wasn't planned for, It just turned out that way. If you gave me a 130mb card & 24 hrs to capture it that way again, i doubt very much i could do it

yeah - but I think that's part of motorsports photos - I watched an ALMS race in Portland (1000+ shots in one day) - I didn't really "see" anything until I got back to editing...

But I would also LOVE to see the TT on Isle of Man... so that's an extra bonus to the shot...

I admit, the TT adds a bit more power to the shot simply because of the walls, hedges & houses that are part of the backdrop. You just can't get that in WSB, BSB, AMA, MotoGP...
I was once told by a very experienced road race photographer, that i shouldn't frame the shot with just the bike & rider, but to include some, or all, of the background. After all, its the TT
He wasn't wrong.

I tried last year to get more of these shots. Got one of Bruce Anstey with flame out the back, but it lacked the impact this one had.
