Description NΓ‘rya, again, in a not so usual outfit for her. Yes, she's part haradrim, but that's not the kind of armour she would wear in a battle... But hey, when you're with your haradrim mates wandering through the desert, sometimes you agree to wear some strange clothes. At least I would if the clothes were as beautiful as those... (notice the sling in her hands??)

I never imagined haradrim people looking like they did in the movies, but I really like those outfits, and I had to try to draw one. What do you think?

Like they are described in the book: tall, with really dark skin, black braided hair, with red and black leather* clothes and lots of gold jewelry, with big shields and spears painted in red...

*Both soft and boiled leather, depending on the kind of warriors they were.

Nice job, I happen to like the Haradrim since they were a part of middle-earth that Tolkien didnt focus on as much. Actually, their costumes were very historically accurate. I think there were some alterations to some of the things I saw on old costume sites but overall it was close. Nice job on the background too.

Thank you a lot! And yes, the "best" part about the haradrim is that tolkien did not profundize much in their story and such, so it leaves a lot to the reader imagination...

I agree that is a wonderful part in terms of the Haradrim. I actually have been working on a fan fic that deals a lot with the Haradrim and one of the main characters is from Harad. I have written (physically) around 500 or so pages, but with college ive been slowed down with progress on it. And...honestly, I dont think I have enough backing and would get fussed at by most Tolkien fans to even think of trying to have it printed. But if youre interested I did actually post a few chapters...and of course the plot will take a while...overall I started this in my sophomore year of highschool so Im sure that the grammar is horrible as well as the storyline but if youre interested...its called the Mystics...Prologue [link]

Thanks!! I've always thought that kind of armour are really well suited for desert enviroment and such: they're not heavy, but cover you all so the sun won't burn you... and most of it it's not metal, so you won't be baked in your own armour!

Lo hice yo... o mΓ‘s bien las maravillas de las "settings" de los pinceles del Photoshop y la opacidad de las capas. No suelo coger fotos mΓ‘s que para referencias de las poses y algunas prendas.

BΓ‘sicamente explicaba que NΓ‘r (esta haradrim pelirroja) no suele ir vestida asΓ­, pero que me molaba el traje de la peli de los haradrim, y ya que ella lo es... pues habΓ­a que intentarlo. Muchas letras para poco contenido.
