Description There is not one truth, there are many.
There is more than one sound to this sonnet.

The land where war finds its comfort,
Was created with more love than graves

Look at the paintbrushed sky
And see it's bluer than even your eyes.

Take a dive into this sonnet.
Now, a deeper dive.

Touch peace,
It's silent, but it's there.

Taken in Schem,
soon to be Palestine

This is just amazing!! I've been practising infra red photography my self recently but my shots aren't this stunning

By the way.. can you tell why the sky goes often black when I take infra red photos? The trees and other stuff are normally grey or something but the sky goes all-black. Is it just because it's not bright enough? :/

It's not a color in Infra red, you can only see clouds in Infra

oh yes... so the color comes from the right WB. I just have to get more practise and maybe I'll succeed

This is pretty amazing IR. Your Nikon clearly works with the filter, since I can't see any of the usual flares associated.

wide angle?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gilad In reply to The-Definition [2005-11-06 08:04:22 +0000 UTC]

It's 18 mm, so after the conversion 1.5 it's about 27mm, so it's still is wide angle (to the usuall 35mm).
Thank you.

A really nice picture. I very much enjoy this otherworldly style of nature photography as infrared pictures often turn out to be. I haven't tried it out yet, as my Canon 20D isn't suited for infrared photography, but there won't be long until I have what I need to do it on film. Although the procedures of postprocessing takes longer time, I'll have to settle with that until now.

Thank you for an enjoyable piece of work! You do some great stuff!

Weird. Looks like the bottom is infrared and the sky is normal, just polarized.
Don't get me wrong, I really like it, it's a realy beauty. Just weird from the techical point of view.

i like how you've chosen to desaturate the ground and leave the sky as the highlight. very nice. fantastic blue too. the sky does look like someone has taken a brush to it, i like it when it looks like this. i just love it

That's a good camera, what other advice?
If you have nikon lenses, that's the best choise. If not, the 20D by Canon is a kick ass camera too.
