On the narrow streets of Akko (Israel) there are a lot of stray cats, trying to make it through the day.
I thought it would make the point, shooting this from the cat's point of view.

Wow....this one literally brought tears to my eyes. I've always had a soft spot for animals, and especially animals who are in need of help or suffering. My very first pet I ever owned, and still have, is a cat that was once a stray kitten, and followed me home one day. I went to sit on my front porch and it crawled straight into my lap and fell asleep. Later that day it began to rain and get cold, so I took my coat off and covered it up....and I refused to come inside each time my mom looked out the window...until she finally let me keep it. It's now a pampered 13-14 year old house cat. Anyways, I just wanted to say I find this so sad, I wish I could rescue all the strays if it were humanly possible. VERY GOOD shot.
I'm finding more and more that I LOVE your incredible talent, and I love your entire gallery, at least half of it are instant favourites, and that's saying a lot since I'm usually more picky when it comes to art. If you ever travel to different cities doing art exhibits of your work, and happen to come to my city, I'd DEFINITELY be there.

I see this picture kinda sad. It's beautiful, and well taken, in artistic way.
But I feel sorry for the kitten. So little, all alone. Everybody would want some love and warmth, why not strayanimals?

The weather down there. Most of us are too busy always envying the positions of those 'above' us to notice the little ones 'below' us; often getting stepped on, but always overlooked. In this nervous creature I see a symbol of a view that many humans share as well. Whether we may refer to a political issue very emotional in Israel, economical here in the US, or humanely in nearly any other part of the world...most of us who have the opportunity to access this internet are probably guilty of it at more than one point.
Let's not forget those who are forced to see things from the level of this furry friend of ours. I'm sorry for 'stray'ing

How the heck did you get the cat to ignore you and remain there for the shot? I thought stray cats were notoriously skittish and avoided people as best they could. Though if this one was mewing for attention it wouldn't care about your nearness...
My friend and I took in a stray and placed it with her grandmother this past summer. The kitten litteraly followed her home.
Earlier that same summer, a cat showed up at my door. This one had tags though and we took it home.

Oh Meow!!!! Poor Kitty!!! Many years ago when i was travelling i saw a cat approx. 2 months old. I'm so guilty seeing her by the road so i went back and pick her and brought her back to my family house in Philippines and named her scraffy. Anyways i'm like you i like animals!
