Thanks for doing what Daz3D apparently lacks the ability too.

I have it on follow until I get the rest of what I need for it. Out of amusement I wonder what new character Daz will be releasing tomorrow or Friday. They really should just do once a month. I think they are over-saturating the market with this route.

I hope it's a male, but I'm not holding my breath. Is it just me, or are all G8 characters looking the same? I mean, except for Sakura 8 and this latest character (forgot her name), all the other bases have looked like they are from the same family. I kind of regret not buying Darius 8, though. Will just have to wait until he's on sale.

I have it but have doubt I will use it mush. And I totally agree with you. Even Sakura is a above and beyond more updated Aiko 3 really. Why I have gotten reluctant spend the funds when it is the same old same old. Just putting out the same stuff to jack up sales. Why I am in the habit of going through my runtime to see if I already have the same thing but different name before I buy it. Now I will admit there I have a few exceptions to the rule since autofit doesn't obviously work perfectly.

Yeah, I've stopped buying outfits and hairs unless it's something amazing. Same with characters. The things I'm still buying are mostly shaders and scripts. Light sets as well. Just pulled the trigger for the first time this week to buy the Iray Light Probe Kit, since it went on flash sale and KindredArts products are amazing! I use his/her's ghost lights in almost every render.

Well along with traditional art in my youth I was a tabletop war gamer along building plastic models. So was always got in the habit of kitbashing parts and things for the models and miniatures I used to paint. Then I discovered the joys of digital art.. oh well not sure which I spent the most on that or this lol. That is where I got the habit of kitbashing in 3d modeling lol.

That's what one of my brothers loves to do. He prints out the figurines in a 3D printer, then hands paint them!

Honestly wish I could do that now myself since I enjoy creating characters the most. Shoot even have a place where I can see the minis .

You'd have to invest so much money, though. I don't have the patience to hand-paint a figurine. Especially when there's no "edit - undo" function. You mess up, you mess up haha.

Depends on what you have them made out of. That should have said sell the minis lol. Sadly I just don't have the patience or the eyesight to paint in such fine detail anymore.

Yeah, my brother is the king of patience when it comes to building things with his hands.

Honestly the biggest reason is unfortunately the eyesight. Requires really good eyesight when you are painting with brushes that have only a single hair to them lol.

Sighs- I am feeling a little annoyed with a certain vendor right now. I think he is totally clueless on what I was wishing to achieve when I asked if it was okay to do a LAMH preset for his anime ear set. They have the flexibility I desire but even subdividing them will not achieve the look I want. I should just make my own but I am not good with morphs and curves.

I think it was more he ignored it lol.
"What I do sometimes is to subdivide the ears and/or tail when I pose or morph them too extremely. This can make them look high-poly. Making the ears blend better is a matter of where to place them. One trick you might like to try is to scale the ears down in the Z axis, making them thinner, which you won't notice when looking from the front, but it helps blending with the hair. Scale the ears down to, say, 20% and you will see it's much easier to make them merge with any hair. Give it a try! ^_____^"
If I was more comfortable modeling curves I would just model them up myself.
