Just a heads-up, this was made purely for fun. I didn't think anyone would ask what this au's about, but I'll give it a shot! So going by Disney standars, the villain's either defeated or (rarely) reformed. And I don't think Disney would say that Pennywise likes to eat "frightened flesh" better. So let's just go with him only "absorbing" fear. Y'know, for kids. So I guess, the only thing I can think of, is that the kids would try to find Penny a sustainable fear source.
I kinda imagine the movie ending with the kids going into school and they have a test or something like that, and Penny looking out the window and "eating" their fear.
And that's all I got. At least for the Disney version
