I drew this for an idea I had involving Hiss and Emprisss. With Hiss now missing his main head (ala MOTU 2004 cartoon) I figured it would be cool for the remaining heads to have to eat people, then start regenerating his human form again, so the serpent side could regenerate and heal inside.Related content

I had that toy when I was a kid. It always disappointed me that he was never in the cartoon in the 80's.
My classmates kept making fun of me for choosing him as a toy instead of Skeletor.
Then the new series came out and in five minutes he totally dominates Skeletor without even breaking a sweat.

I know that feeling. I've never seen much of the 80's version, but it always Skeletor who had the popular vote. Even in the 2002 version.
I actually didn't know who to root for, but was glad King Hiss won. He even won in the rematch in the 40th episode comic. Woot! Unfortunately, I can't even seem to get the comic to work.

That's stunning. I really like the scales and interesting bone structure underneath the "skin" of his human form. I've spent an unhealth amount of time wondering how he interacts with his exoskeleton, as it were.

I've always thought that Hiss did a lot more than just shed his skin when he changed forms, I pictured a *lot* of bone alterations going on underneath while he's going through his transformation. Although, consdiering the state he was in at the end of the new MOTU series, he might have to make even *more* alterations, hehe...

I love it!!! I like how the detail on the left side of his face goes closely with the human side of his face. You can see how the tendons and teeth and stuff goes with whats under his skin. Great job. I love the concept.
