Sons of Garmadon spoilers...kinda.This has been my train of thought for a few episodes now and I needed an outlet. Ended up making a self-insert.
And yes, the me in the comic just swam over there. As to how I ended up in Ninjago, it's either author/artist universe bending powers or the Traveller's Tea I got from another writer.
If you look closely enough, you'll see that Jay still has a notch on his eyebrow. I headcanon that he was just wearing make-up. Also agree with the headcanon that he's always had freckles during the series and just weren't that obvious.

apparently the writers decided that they just. Wouldn't use airjitsu or their dragons this season?? for some reason?? like, they're not even going to give us a canon reason, they've just Decided that's how it is??
why they'd give them these powers if they're just going to temporarily(?) retcon them out later is beyond me, but hopefully they'll be back next season??

Yeah, like, what??? They have already went so far on how stuff works that it's almost solid to the point where they couldn't just up and change things without explanation and expect us fans to believe that stuff. Though it could be like that "this guy is Ronin and we know him" thing in s5. But still- we need answers. In confirmed canon.

Heh, yeah. They were quite a big deal the previous season yet nobody mentioned them after that. I don't think they saw much of what's going on, but probably had some idea. News travels very very fast after all in Ninjago. Though they probably are in the shop again...cleaning up...or something.
