Terms of Service
The Artist retains the right to refuse service for any reason, and will not be expected to explain their reasoning upon refusal if it should occur.
The Artist retains the right to cancel or cease work due to rude/inappropriate/offensive behavior, and/or a breach of these terms of service.
The Commissioner can choose to cancel their order within 30 days and receive a full refund. If the Commissioner chooses to cancel their order after this period, a refund will NOT be provided.
The Artist will not create any depiction of work which would place them in a morally or legally compromising situation. This includes but is not limited to: racism, bullying, sexualization of minors (including minors that have been 'aged up'), and graphic violence. Should the Commissioner violate these terms by omitting certain information (i.e. commissioning work of a non-consensual act under the guise of consent, commissioning a minor character by providing vague or no reference to the character’s canonical age, etc.) the Artist retains the right to 1) Cease work immediately 2) Refuse delivery of finished work. A refund will NOT be granted if this should occur.
The Artist will not reproduce a depiction of an Original Character which is not owned by the Commissioner, unless permission has been granted by the character’s owner. The Artist will accept that permission has been granted in good faith if postulated by the Commissioner, however should the original owner rescind their permission at any point, the Artist retains the right to 1) Cease work immediately 2) Refuse delivery of finished work. A refund will NOT be granted if this should occur.
The Commissioner must describe their request in detail prior to the exchange of payment, as complexity, content, and detail may incur additional charges. Only 1 major revision may be requested after the initial sketch has been provided to the Commissioner. Minor revisions will be made at the discretion of the Artist, and may be refused if this privilege is abused by the Commissioner.
Completed works are for the Commissioner’s personal use, and may not be redistributed, reproduced, or otherwise used for the profit of the Commissioner.
The Commissioner may not trace, alter, or otherwise claim completed works as their own. This includes removing the Artist’s signature from the completed work.
The Artist will be credited if the Commissioner chooses to post a completed work to any public forum. This will be done by including the Artist’s Twitter handle within the same I post. Failing to do so will result in a request to amend or remove the posting, and may prevent the Commissioner from requesting work in the future.
