Description My precious Shiny Zoroark that I spent a year breeding via Masuda Method. ;w;
=w= Yes, I named him Marcurio after my favorite Skyrim follower for multiple reasons
Both have yellow eyes
Both have epic ponytails
Both can throw fire
And both Snarl a lot. XD

Well, if you don't want to hack, shiny hunting takes a lot of time more than anything. I used what's called the Masuda Method. It's when you get a Pokemon from Japan (I have a ditto) and you breed it with the Pokemon you want a shiny of. Because it's Japanese, it increases the chances of hatching a shiny. From there you just have to fill up boxes of eggs and keep hatching. It took me around 1,200 eggs to hatch the Zorua that evolved into the Zoroark from the picture.

You would have to connect to the wifi and use the Global Trade station. You can find guides to set up wifi on your DS online.
