I'm not sure if it's considered a supermarket but we usually go to the Kroger's near our house, they're also Meijer's as well that we use sometimes.

Whole Foods, Cub Foods, Sam's Club (which you need a membership), Brennan's, Target, Copps...and local grocery stores too.

Thank you!
I'll google them for details~
Just out of curiosity, why would a supermarket ask customers to acquire a membership in order to shop there...does it have unique special offers?

LadyJeeves In reply to GH18 [2012-07-06 04:21:35 +0000 UTC]
I'm not sure, actually! You'll have to research Sam's Club. They probably do have special offers, but I don't know much about it.

hahahahahhahahahaha~~~~~~~
I haven't been to either of these two countries but I always hope I can travel there. I get informed from many TV shows and documentary series that the weather in Cananda is cool and even very cold. It seems to me that in winter every corner of this country will be covered by beautiful snow. Is it true?
awwwwwwwwe you last sentence! I like it! I'd better get enrolled myself!
π: 0 β©: 1
LadyoftheLilith In reply to GH18 [2012-07-06 00:32:51 +0000 UTC]
well, it only gets really cold during the winter and early spring and during spring only in the mornings.
the average temperature during the winter is -20 to -25.
Every now and then we -30 and -40. we get -50 blizzards every so often.
But yes, every year (except for this year where we didnt have snow at all... worst Christmas in my opinion)
we get tons of snow. I have had to walk to skool in knee deep snow~~
i love it!! Our summers are a different matter, we go from -25 during winter to +25 during summer.
its intense.

GH18 In reply to LadyoftheLilith [2012-07-06 03:51:44 +0000 UTC]
That seems extremely cold to me! How do you guys get over it! If I lived there I'd bury myself under tons of coats and jumpers!
OMG a Xmas without snow cannot be called Xmas, sir! Shame it rarely snows in winter here.
A temperature of 25 is really comfortable to me since we are facing 36-38 in the coming 2-3 months... imagine you wait at a bus stop while sweat keeps running down your back... definitely horrible experience...

LadyoftheLilith In reply to GH18 [2012-07-07 00:58:56 +0000 UTC]
we do, but when its a matter of getting to school or work,
ya just need to bite your tongue and push past it.
plus most of us wear extra layers before leaving the house so~~
ya, not the best Christmas really... we got all of our snow AFTER the fact
was really sucky.
oh lord, i hate anything above 20, 25 is hell for me...
im not the most active kid, to addicted to the internet,
plus i never really found what i enjoyed... im really solitary.
so, i was never really comfortable in a class.

GH18 In reply to LadyoftheLilith [2012-07-07 09:54:30 +0000 UTC]
Dont worry.
The reason why you currently havent found the things you really enjoy is because your experience is not enougn yet.
After you've experience many aspects of life you will finally find something enjoyable.
Good luck!

i was in ballet for many years but...
i dont think i would enjoy it as much anymore.
im still going to do it again,
but who knows.
ive been thinking about tai chi lately...
kinda want to see how that would work.

you should try it, as long as you can find a good master.
i've been doing it for two years. i can't tell you how much i love it.
it helps people calm down and is good for health.
π: 0 β©: 1
LadyoftheLilith In reply to GH18 [2012-07-08 19:09:43 +0000 UTC]
really? wow, sweet...
i live in a small city so finding a good master may be a little difficult.
i heard it was really good for your health.
could you confirm something for me?
ive been wondering about it but im really not sure...
but tai chi is slow moving right?
i tried a taekwondo class a year or so ago and i couldnt do it.
it moved way to fast and i couldnt keep up, plus i didnt make any 'soup' sound when i was supposed to.
im quiet and i dont like making awkward noises... yet im really chatty.
