AH, IMMORTAL NINJA GAIDEN!!  I WISH THEY WOULD MAKE A NINJA GAIDEN TRILOGY FROM THE 80S!!  That would be AWESOME!!  But it seems these days, game makers only release sucky sequels!!

Yeah he did way back when. I had wanted to do a square painting like he had as well but in the end I didn't want to go out and buy a new canvas so I used what I had (the 36x24) and I think it worked out really well that way. It's hard to not end up copying some of his paintings since he was out there doing paintings years before me so a lot of good ideas were used up. I have a pretty strict standard for not reproducing anyone else's ideas or even doing duplicates of my own works (in regards to other pixel painters, obviously I'm reproducing nes video game artists ideas lol). If I really want to do something someone has done in the past then I'll try and make it somehow unique. This one was just so damn awesome. Nes ninjas ftw!
