I think I asked you this years ago xD
But HOW do you handle all the layers these extended animations must take?
And for this one, did you have to draw some of the frames from scratch rather than just moving things around?
I can't figure out how to handle extended animations because it just gets so confusing with all the layers

Actually I dont have many layers!
I draw the Pixel. merge all layers except the background.
and then duplicate that layer. and animate on top of that to make frame #2 and so on and so forth.

Ah! I always assumed it would be easier to animate with separate layers, but I guess that does make it complicated and confusing. Thanks for the answer! ^^

sometimes I animate like arms separately on a different layer than I would the body.
just depends what im trying to do. but for the pixel above I had everything merged
