it might sound odd, but the part that i love the most in this amazing illustration are the edges, treated like in a real oil painting, they give this piece the life of a real painting.

Thanks, although just to clarify, when I say its quick it doesn't mean I think its bad. On the contrary, I think the quick stuff is alot more interesting than the things I labour over for 50 hours

I did'nt took it this way no worries.
I was just amazed by the quality of the piece for a said "quick-one". 
And, as you do, I really find speed paintings often more interesting. The artist as to be focused on the most importants aspects to make it look real, like light, levels etc. Well, I think you see what I mean.
