I like how her face is perfectly set to convey the emotions that come with insecurity. The parted lips, the closed eyes, & the slightly raised eyebrow say so much without words.

The pearl necklace, earring, hair ribbon, & painted nails suggest she was posing for vintage pin-up photography. For me, the handkerchief feels like a gift that was given to her by a relative or a boyfriend. Perhaps they said something to her about the fashion industry that she may have dismissed at first, but now in her moment of insecurity, she dries her tears while remembering their kind words & thoughtfulness.

The pink shade on her lips make me think that she's got a romantic heart & speaks in a very classical way. Something that most outside observers would not think to look for. The singularity of the tear is 2 things: 1, the moment of vulnerability she allows herself, and 2, the only hint of emotion that she will ever allow to be visible to the outside world, or even, herself.

An impressive piece that conveys a lot of emotion for those with the vision to see it. I'm glad to be included in that number. This is quite impressive, you have great skill & execution; it is shown in this evocative piece.

As the Title suggests 'Red Handkerchief', we all know that RED is one glamorous color which is used to signify Passion towards something. The color composition makes this piece of art worth admiring as it represents the lavish lifestyle of most celebrities, but as we say 'With advantages also come disadvantage', this piece of art very well portrays the drawbacks of the 'Glamour World' that everyone dreams to be a part of, that is to be famous, rich and live the life of Queen which as been brought out well with the help of the 'Tear' as we see in the portrait. The make-up is beautiful and at the same time very mesmerizing because of the Glossy lips effect that has been given by the help of exotic colors like pink, white and black to bring it a little out and highlight it. I love the shading which has been done so perfectly !! I would say Amazing job, well done ! This portrait gives us a true picture of the Fashion or Glamour World ! Fantastic job !

Very respectable work! The eyes and ribbon are extremely well done. My only criticism is that you prbaby could have gone further in using different shaded to further define the face. Then again it may have lost some color during the photo. Overall you did a great job!
