While at Bryce, I ran into a fella that also wanted to shoot longer exposures at the Bryce. He told me about the star trails that he caught the night before and would be nice tonight as well since it was clear. Around 7pm, it was finally dark enough to take pictures of the canyon and get part of the sky in there. By then, the trail back was complete darkness and cover in snow, I didn't bring a flashlight and it was kinda scary out there. However, because it was so clear and so dark out, I was able to see some amazing stuff!!!!!Related content

Thank. It was dark, I really had hoped for more colors. Wanted to try to do some light painting, but no light would be powerful enough to illuminated bryce other than the sun. it came out ok

My lack of color reference was to all the snow that disguised the typical brilliaqnt oranges and yet was still recognizable as Bryce.
