well when Set killed Osiris and chopped up his body and scattered his body parts all over the Egypt Isis went to collect the pieces and the only part she couldn't get back was Osiris penis which was eaten by a crocodile so Isis created a wooden penis to attach to Osiris' dead body and then she had sex with it and later gave birth to Horus.

isis was the wife/sister of osiris, mother of horus. she brought osiris back to life after his brother seth killed him to take over as pharaoh.she is known as the mother of egypt but not the god of creation, as that is only for ra.
osiris was not the sun god, that was ra. osiris was the god of the underworld, he sailed with them across a river, who ever made it would be able to journey to the next life.
anubis, the son of seth, was osiris' apprentice, becoming the god of judgement.

Isis was the perfect mother. She was the God of Creation due to her being the 'Great Mother' and all that jazz. So yeah.
But, I read this book, it told you who the gods and stuff was based from. The woman she was based from had dozens of kids, and had a cat along with that kid, and if the cat died for unknown reasons, she killed the kid. So if the cat was murdered or something along those lines, so was the child.

I don't know the Egyptian gods that well but I do believe she was the sister of Osiris and Seth. Supposedly Seth cut Osiris up into a few pieces and scatted him across the world. Isis then gathered up the pieces and put him back together he was still dead though, if a god can be dead. But his man parts worked fine apparently so she had sex with and had Horus, the guy with the falcon head. I dunno what happened to Osiris but he was the sun god.

This is a fantastic picture. Ironically, Isis figures prominently in an RPG I'm making, and if you wouldn't be too horrendously against the idea I would love for you to consider working with me (for me to provide description) and making an Isis image for my RPG that I've been working on for about 4-5 months worth of days, 3-4 hours a day. Should I ever get the RPG into a console or online or anything like that, you'd of course get massive amounts of credit and a massive payoff for it, but right now I'm broke and so can't afford any commissioning, so if you're not interested I'll understand, but you're the first person I'm asking to help me out by doing the pic for the titan-goddess (as she is in my game) Isis, because I think that you'd do a fantastic job. Either way, like I said - fantastic picture! Just let me know if you decide you'd want to do the picture for me, I promise that you'd get 100% credit for the artwork and a *lot* of money if I ever get this into a console or otherwise sponsored & to the point where I'm making a lot of money off the game.

yes she's a mother of FERTILITY & according to observers, she's also a great magician, a sister of Osiris and also her husband (silly isn't she?) however she recollects a piecess of body of her husband osiris to get him alive again causing by the assassination from seth (cause of ISIS)
