The raptor improves upon the shortcomings of both the vulture and the strain, Incorporating the advantages of both along with improving upon the model's strengths. The raptors frame incorporates a majority of attachments, An advanced sensor array outstripping what is available to both the vulture and strain, Highly durable armour that avoids the weight issues of both whilst maintaining the machine's high speed and mobility, Incorporating equipment and tactical units from it's predecessors.

What ultimately sets the raptor apart from the first generation is it's Hybrid engine, Forgoing the turbine method of the U-Engine and instead utilizing a thruster system optimized for universal operations.

The Second Generation is comprised of both the raptor and it's 'Twin' the viper.
