I really like this concept! It's the style I am trying to go for, for the game I'm helping make.

It is a pen and paper sci-fi roleplaying game that is set in the near future. Alien races are becoming more common on Earth, and Earth is trying to calm the hysteria it is starting to make. There are four main powers in the many systems, and many races to choose from. We're still working on the details while we play through it. We're still in the alpha stages, creating things and adjusting others.

I actually imagined it as a massproduction unit.

Fantastic robot! I love the organic feel you give to your machines.

a close combat weapon? First of all, something presumably that big can't be so cheap as to be close combat special. Secondly, it can't possibly stand on those two little metal twigs, even if it is made of some super composite metal alloy, it would sink to knee depth if it had to stand on plain earth. A torpedo with a bomb, robotic limb and a buzz saw would probably be far more effective. The only practical type of environment this thing would seem to be effective in the least is a micro gravity environment, like a really small planet, or outter space, or an asteroid.
