Description Sephiroth and Genesis, yes. It seems, Genesis is quite despond, maybe because he... argh. I hate yaoi and don't really like shounen-ai too >< But they are the only exeption, I think. I can't do anything, they are so pretty together.(
So, let's imagine the situation: Genesis loves Sephiroth but he doesn't know how to say it and what the reaction will be. And one day Genesis is feeling SO bad, that he just can't keep his emotions in, so he unintentionally touches Sephiroth's cheek. His eyes are filled with pain (but also with some hope) and he is sure that the next moment Sephiroth will push him away. But his friend is too surprized for doing something like this.
I think, they will stay together at least as friends and Sephiroth can't push Genesis away. Maybe he loves him a bit too Oo
So that's the idea of the picture.

im always thought its actually Sephiroth who loves him but afraid to tell him to not being scorned and disgusted by him, but im agree with your version - that he is too lonely to push away such awesome person

Awww! This is a very pretty picture of both of them! It looks more to me like Seph is sad and Gen can feel for him and is trying to comfort him. These two are just such and interesting match with their opposite yet complimenting personalities even if you weren't into yaoi, the dynamic would be intruiging.

Beautiful work on creating gradients with crosshatching!
