glad you like it, ive just drawn a field marshall for this regiment and i might write up some of its background too...
its not that unique at all really, its basically a british no2 dress uniform, or patrol uniform as it was called then. these were worn when you were at base or doing everyday tasks. it was a fighting uniform and many soldiers owe their lives to wearing it instead of the red dress uniforms (everyone enemy wants a red uniform as a trophy). i can actually could take a photograph with this uniform on since i have all the elements!!! (i might do this when i make your photos!)

Me too the uniforms were great in that period, compared to todays which seem to be mostly the same.

they still wear uniforms like those, but they are optional and cost loads as you have to go to proper tailors to get them. i wanted to see if i could get some rarer ones direct from a tailor, but they are nearly 3 times more than antique ones!
