Furipllar are rare nocturnal creatures who spend their days sleeping in secluded hideaways and hidden caverns. At night they wander out in search of food, remaining hidden in trees and tall grass. When frightened they stand up tall and push up their fur, making direct eye contact with their foe, it is said that staring into their eyes has a hypnotic effect that temporarily scrambles the brain and leaves you with a fuzzy memory of the event.

Fuzcoona use a form of psychic energy to levitate off the ground and float about, avoiding danger and seeking out places in which to hide until they finished their metamorphosis.

Malimoth are extremely reclusive and skittish Pokémon, preferring to remain hidden. When they are spotted the are often mistaken for cloaked humans, using their folded wings to resemble a long coat furred coat. However if approached they unfurl their wings revealing the hypnotic patterns upon their inner membrane, causing the viewer to fall into a trance like state. While hypnotized Malimoth implants an altered memory into their minds, making them feel as though they had a dangerous encounter with a frightening creature. To then end Malimoth are often seen as vicious and aggressive, when in true they are docile and avoid conflict.
