Mmmn, I want to hug her. I want to tell her everything is going to be okay... that I'm going to get her out of this, that I was going to set the monsters free... but I can't... I can't tell her that. Even if the human made it to the surface, who is to say that this world would be sane enough to return to the surface. They're broken... mentally... and physically... and broken things don't fix easily....

Just a haunting piece. Like you can see the insanity and the haunting sadness in that one eye. It captures this whole piece for me, that eye. Not that she's starting at you from the shadows of what I assume to be the Ruins... not because she's holding onto you with what little hope she has left, mentally and physically... but that eye that speaks everything.
Pardon my rambling, just... ah this is amazing. Thank you so much and I'd love to see the speedpaint!
