I keep telling myself I need to learn digital coloring, but it gives me no joy and I have no plans to try and turn pro, so I stick to markers. And Then You Bring This In.........!!!!!!

Hey!!! Yes I did do this partially in markers. Glad you caught that! I only have neutral gray markers right now, so I just went with a value marker rendering. Then I colored it digitally after, making any adjustments I needed to the line art and marker rendering.

Nice!! That's a great technique idea. We're so used to the smooth look of digital coloring, that texture's a really fun, unexpected thing. Excellent. I support this wholeheartedly!
