Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost.My hero, Optimus Prime from Transformers The Movie. Optimus Prime is the man! Digital coloring of a sketch/colored pencil work I submitted earlier today. It's Optimus before his death scene. Done with no reference except my own imagination. I don't think I can draw Transformers well though. Optimus is an exception because frankly I think his design is the simplest.
As always, full-view tends to be best.

When I first saw the movie as a kid I cried. I still tend to get a little teary when I watch that part actually. Optimus Prime was the man.

It's a cool pic, but optimus is too curvy here. I mean, he doesn't have muscles, and he has to turn into a truck, so he needs lots of straight edges. Good drawing though, you really get that feeling of despairation through- "No Matter the Cost"

Yeah, I know Optimus is too curvy. It's why I don't draw Transformers or mechas in general too often. I prefer drawing curves as opposed to straight lines. It really was more about the mood, though so I'm glad you feel I got that through. Thanks for the comment.
