I like the pewter, is it?, and the design,..it looks like little hearts in a circle. I see you chose to film it on a piece of white muslin again, which is a nice texture.
That's always the way with some of my shots too; I don't think much of it, it's just a fave of mine, and it turns out to be lauded by others!..

I'm not entirely sure what it was made of actually. I think the design is little hearts in a circle. In the Camden markets they have stalls that sell all sorts of different style pocket watches like this one.

In some ways the item reminds me of 1984. I can see it being a keepsake that Winston Smith or Julia buys. Things like those watches are so full of imagination.

awesome. what a great piece. love that you shot it on the fabric, gives it a great texture. i would've probably shot it on poster board and it would've lost the mood you created. nice work

No it's not old at all, they are made to look that way and you can pick them up from a lot of stalls in Camden markets in lots of different styles. It is really cool as the part that attaches it to the chain when pulled up allows you to set the time.
