ContrappostoTorso made from basalt lava
I do like the silky surface of the basalt lava. It is extremely well suited for the human body. In the sunlight the cristals are shining from the little hollows.
About 60 cm high
Finished 7/2012

I started sculpting nearly 15 years ago; and it changed my life. The meditative work, the sensual work and pieces, have really enriched my life enormously. And I have the luxury of not depending of sculpting financially.
