I shoot from the traditional bow for about 5 years, and I know different traditional archery techniques)
My character shoots a bow with a ring (not visible on the hand because of the angle), when shooting with a ring arrow lies just this side of bow.

Try pulling the right shoulder back more, otherwise the bow-string seems to lack elasticity, and the bow will seem incapable of firing with force... But the kitty is so adorable!
