Description       I have stood here a hundred years, and I will stand for a hundred more. Most of my kind fled long ago, and a city has grown in their place. Stones and dead wood make for poor company, but their builders' hasty actions have oft' entertained. fights have been fought, tears cried, gifts exchanged, plans made, treaties signed. All this and more took place within the shade of my branches.
You ask if I have any stories to tell, and indeed I do. Stories both great and small, joyous and sad. So come back when you have learned to listen.

it would be more amusing to not tell people who (or what) the narrator was, and see if they figured it out.
