I bet the drink is for both of them and Ariel grabs the glass and drank the whole drink!
Like Jim Hawkins ordered the drink for him and Ariel and when the drink was set on the table, I bet Jim says to Ariel, "So, here's our dr--" but his sentence was cut because Ariel took the drink.
