FATALITY IS THE KEY.Now this is more my kind of referential humor. It's definitely been a week of firsts for me, having drawn a lot of these One Piece characters for the very first time.Β
This Shutenmaru guy, sure he might seem like an asshole by robbing those poor folk who just got their food from Luffy, but I think there's more to his motivations than that. Personally, I think he was taking the food originally stolen from Kaidou so that the defenseless villagers will be spared the wrath of the King of Beasts. Just a hunch, really.

I guess time will tell just how much of a jerk or a good guy at heart he is. At worst, I can see him being a relculant ally in the fight against Kaido, since I cannot imagine heβs a fan of the guy who partly took over and poisoned his country.
